MOTOTRBO Console System Now Shipping!

The MOTOTRBO Professional Two-Way Radio System is a new digital radio platform from Motorola for both Conventional and Trunked applications in the commercial marketplace. MOTOTRBO supports the ETSI Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) standard. It uses 12.5 KHz TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) which provides 2 radio channels, for what is known as “6.25kHz equivalency.”

Scout is the only console system to offer true “”wire-line” connectivity to MOTOTRBO infrastructure via IP. Scout systems are shipping today with support for both MOTOTRBO IP Site Connect (Conventional) and Connect Plus (Multi-site Trunking) applications.

Avtec is a registered Motorola Development Partner.

Trunked Systems – MOTOTRBO Connect Plus Console

Avtec has teamed with Motorola to develop an exclusive, full-featured IP “wire-line” Scout console interface for the multi-site Connect Plus MOTOTRBO Trunking system. Scout, through the innovative VPGate, simultaneously supports MOTOTRBO Talk Groups and other radio technologies, providing an easy transition to this new digital technology. VPGate connects to the Connect Plus system through the Motorola Solutions XRT 9000 Gateway, providing MOTOTRBO native AMBE+2 encoded talk group and unit call connections as well as all associated signaling.

In addition to all the standard features of Scout (Patch, Multi-Select, Unselect, etc.), the following MOTOTRBO Connect Plus features are available to the Dispatcher:
