MPT1327 Trunked Radio System
MPT1327 is the most widely used open-protocol Trunked Radio System in the world. Excellent performance and affordable cost has made it the choice of many North American organizations. Avtec’s Scout and DSPatch systems provide a “”wire-line”" connection to the TaitNET MPT1327 Trunked Radio system that offers advanced integration at the Dispatch console.
Supported features include:
- Group Calls
- Individual Calls
- Emergency Calls
- Talker ID (including aliasing)
- Directed Call-ins
Avtec consoles support Monitoring, Multi Select, and Patching of Group and/or Individual calls to other console resources. These include conventional radio channels and telephony circuits.
MPT1327 systems will migrate to digital radio in the future. Tait Radio Communications will offer an upgrade path to DMR, and Avtec’s Scout console system will be ready with a software-only upgrade. Refer to the DMR page for more information.
