Software Audio Package
For clients requiring the flexibility of a pure software solution, Avtec offers the Scout Software Audio Package, which runs on a Windows laptop or tablet. With audio processed using the console software, there’s no need for an external piece of hardware.
The software package is easy to use, easy to install, and can use commercial, off-the-shelf USB headsets, microphones, and speakers, as well as Avtec peripherals.
These products allow dispatchers and supervisors to manage communications outside the typical dispatch environment.
Mobile Scout is a full-featured pure IP console for dispatchers and other users who need access to the full feature set and endpoint range of a Scout console. It can be deployed on a laptop or a tablet, which allows users to monitor/control operations while away from central dispatch and stay in touch with ongoing incidents using both radio (RoIP) and phone connections.
The Scout with Ranger console was designed for users who need a concentrated set of mobile dispatching capabilities. It is ideal for supervisors, incident commanders, or executives who occasionally monitor radio dispatch communications or need to be connected on-scene.
Connect external, licensed devices, such as the Mini SIP Console, via SIP to Scout systems. ScoutLink grants these devices full radio endpoint control and additional features. This technology provides an affordable alternative for smaller systems and a low-cost opportunity to add positions to existing systems.
