EFJohnson is pleased to offer Avtec’s Scout™ console to its customers where a flexible console standard is mandated. Scout has been tested to be interoperable with EFJohnson’s ATLAS® network gateway. As such, Scout can be used in a variety of deployments where a P25 CSSI standard interface is available.
The compatibility helps EFJohnson expand its growing ecosystem of standards-based, vendor solution offerings. It also supports using standards-based interfaces to enhance P25 system capabilities for radio users and dispatch operators. This allows public safety and utility organizations to choose industry-leading solutions from different vendors that best fit their specific needs, rather than being locked into any one vendor’s proprietary architecture.
