Avtec Scout E4 Dispatch Console

Powered by the same proven technology used in Avtec’s flagship Scout™ EX solution, the Avtec Scout E4 dispatch console is ideal for smaller operations that require fewer communications channels. It provides connections to a variety of conventional and trunked Land Mobile Radio (LMR) platforms through standards-based protocols and proprietary systems, as well as connectivity to broadband Push to Talk over Cellular (POC), and telephony technologies. A fully customizable and intuitive interface enables your dispatchers to set their screens up to meet their exact needs.

Scout Enterprise dispatch consoles are available in four different models that can be mixed and matched across your network, allowing each of your dispatchers to be equipped with the right size console for their job. You can upgrade your console seat license at any time to easily increase capacity whenever your requirements change.

Scout E4

4-Channel
Dispatch Solution

AVT_Scout_E4_Left

Avtec’s Scout E4 console delivers a reliable, scalable software dispatching solution that allows up to four radio or telephony channels at a time on fixed or mobile consoles, giving you maximum value for a minimal investment. Designed to integrate easily with leading radio, telephony, and broadband technologies, the Scout E4 console provides full capabilities for dispatch centers that require fewer communication channels.

Connect to the Right People, Every Time
Regardless of the type of communication system deployed, the Scout E4 console can connect to it. Avtec supports conventional and trunked radios with standards-based or proprietary interfaces, as well as broadband POC and telephony technologies.

Need a Reliable System?
Scout E4 is built on Avtec’s flagship platform, Scout Enterprise, which is used by six major U.S. airlines, 70% of North America’s Class I railroads, 60 global utilities, and dozens of Fortune 500 companies. Scout Enterprise is also the radio dispatch console thousands of first responders depend on. The system is fully redundant, supports geographically dispersed architecture, and is designed to maintain operations in every situation.

Adherence to Security Standards for Your Peace of Mind
Cybersecurity breaches are more prevalent than ever. The Scout family of solutions are NERC-CIP/NIST special publication 800-53 compliant to help ensure your control room dispatch console system meets corporate and regulatory security requirements. For continuous security management, each software release completes security vulnerability scans to help keep your networks protected from threat actors.

Make the Screens What You Need Them to Be
Need to replicate a legacy console system to minimize training for maximum efficiency? You got it. Have a complicated workflow that requires a specific screen layout to minimize errors? No problem. The Scout E4 graphical user interface is fully customizable to your center’s workflows and dispatchers’ needs. Scout delivers the flexibility you need so your center can run at optimum efficiency.

Just the Right Size, Now and Later
The Avtec Scout E4 console is designed for commercial operations, energy, and public safety clients who require up to four radio, telephony, broadband POC, or LTE channels. You can protect your investment by adding capacity and capability as your dispatch center’s needs grow and change. Since Scout Enterprise console components are fully interoperable with each other, you can build a system that meets your needs now and into the future. Adding Avtec’s Resource Pro Tool to the Scout E4 console allows the dispatcher to choose which four channels to use based on the situation.

Flexibility to Dispatch Where the Action Happens
A mobile license enables Avtec Scout E4 consoles to be deployed on a laptop or a tablet—on-premise or in the field—which allows users to monitor and control operations while away from central dispatch and stay in touch during ongoing incidents for enhanced situational awareness.
